PBA offers notary services for Law firms and their clients, including defendants that may be incarcerated at various Detention Centers in Southern California. PBA offers Notary services at Detention Centers, Jails, and Courthouses, or all other requested locations within our coverage area. Notary assignments that must take place in any of the above locations can be complicated and require proper approval and scheduling from the Facility where the defendant is incarcerated, the Law Firm of Defendant, the Defendant or Family of the Defendant. Visits to these Detention Facilities can be time consuming due to Rules and Regulations of each individual facility, Security measures, inmate status and unexpected technical occurrences such as Individual that is signing the document that is to be Notarized must have a valid I.D. (Inmate must request their ID from their “Jail Property”) if they do not possess a valid ID on hand. This request should be properly coordinated with facility staff and date of Notarization service. In a situation where an inmate does not have a valid ID, we may be able to still complete the Notary of document if we can use two credible witnesses.
